Irwin Consulting Services was retained to implement a system to process data from climate and precipitation stations distributed throughout the Region of Niagara. The Niagara Weather Information System’s (NWIS) main purpose, is to streamline the process of aggregating and analyzing precipitation and climate data. NWIS enhances the overall ability to analyze and report precipitation and climate data. It also provides relevant information to assist in Regional planning and engineering activities.
